Walk in or book a time
During office hours you can come without an appointment. Please call or send a WhatsApp message first, ideally about 20 minutes before you arrive, so we know you are on the way. Outside office hours we work by appointment, for example when the buyer only arrives late in the day.
Finding us
The desk is about 1 km from the A1 motorway, exit via the Bornsestraat, and about 2 km from the Markt square in the centre. Coming from Germany on the A30? It turns into the A1 at De Lutte; from Bad Bentheim the drive takes roughly 30 minutes.

What to bring
Bring valid ID of the person the export is registered to, the Dutch registration card or the old paper parts, the yellow plates, the current mileage and the buyer's full address abroad. The yellow plates are handed in, so do not forget them. The complete checklist is on our page about export documents, and what we need for the insurance is on the export insurance page.
Can't come in person? Prepare the request online and send the yellow plates by post or courier. We start once they arrive and send everything back insured and with tracking.

We only use your details to answer and handle your request. The form sends your details by email to our team. A backup copy is kept for up to 90 days by our hosting provider Cloudflare and is then deleted automatically.
We do not share your details with others unless your request requires it, for example the deregistration with the RDW or arranging the export insurance. This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a visit to the desk take?
With complete documents, a standard desk request is usually ready in about 15 minutes. Bring everything on the checklist so nothing holds you up.
Can I come in the evening or on a Sunday?
Yes, by appointment. The desk is closed on Sundays, but outside office hours we work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by appointment. A higher rate may apply, and you will know it beforehand.
Will I know the price before I come?
Yes. Starting prices are €50 for the export document, €100 for export insurance with white plates and €150 for the complete package. Outside office hours, for postal delivery or for heavy vehicles it can be more, and we always confirm the price in advance.
